TRMTAB's mission to make small changes began with a cleverly designed, upcycled product line. We brought TRMTAB to you in June 2014 to help you carry your tech in sustainable style while supporting a leather factory make their first small change: their upcycled product.

Through our launch on Kickstarter, we also promised to use part of the funds raised to support female education in India. This is our second small change. In the educational year of 2015, we will be sponsoring the education of 10 girls -- daughters of our employees here at the TRMTAB tannery. We organized a day to meet and greet them and wanted to share it with you.

We did have to force them to smile, and we're not sure if it worked! ;-)

As an icebreaker exercise, we had them tell us their names, their favorite subject in school and what they wanted to be when they grow up.

We hope we were able to inspire the girls and help them understand the importance of education by nudging them along in this way. Particularly, we're happy to let you know that one of the girls in the group has not been going to school at all -- due to family circumstances. Now through our support, she will re-start her studies in the April session.

Love,
The TRMTAB Team
